WHO ARE WE

We are the new kid on the block, but then again not really. We have been around the advertising world for more than 20 years, however we finally opened our own boutique company with a wonderful and creative bunch of directors.

One could say we picked a terrible time, seeing how everyone is quarantining and social distancing, but we think we still picked a great time. We have solutions for any job request or scenario. We have an amazing team of very creative directors from all over the world, who are ready to shoot in a heartbeat. We have lots of directors with post connections, editing connections and even music connections. We are well equipped to work any job from treatment writing to bidding, Casting (remotely and safely with set tapes)

WHAT CAN WE SHOOT

All of our directors have capabilities of remote viewing possibilities in their respective countries, so there are options of virtual video villages available with any of our directors so you can see live what is being shot.

We are in this business to be solution finders for any given situation and we have plenty solutions for the current situation. We are a creative bunch filled with people who all have a desire to make quality work.

WHAT CAN WE VFX

Verve has a VFX arm as well. We are well equipped to do editing, VFX, CGI and color correction if needed. But we are happy to tailor our service to whatever is needed by you and can source additional artists from our pool throughout the world, working remotely to keep production during COVID 19 safe!

Henrik Hanson is a Swedish director, who lives in Sweden, but used to work all around the world.

He started filming and editing at the tender age of 15 and was taken under the wing by acclaimed director Jonas Akerlund at the beginning of his career.

Since Henrik lives in Sweden he is actually able to film anything one would want to shoot. Sweden never closed down their economy and everything remained open. Huge gatherings are forbidden, which translates for filming into no crews above 50 allowed and mass scenes with Extras aren’t allowed either. But otherwise the film industry is working as normal. To give you some background information and details into what is and isn’t allowed please refer to the following article from Shots

Shooting in Sweden during the Pandemic

There are wonderful professional crews in Sweden as well as any equipment needed.

Hometown is a director / DP duo out of Germany. They have shot all over the world before the COVID 19 crisis.

They are young and willing to shoot anything they can during Covid-19. Together they have found their voice – being strongly influenced by Jan Eric’s Scandinavian roots and his background in graphic design together with Alex’ passion to freeze memories onto film and his relentless search for beauty.

The rules in Germany are being already a bit relaxed, however the majority still needs to be shot in private places. But they have a close circle of friends who could work with them on any project. Their circle consist of artists, skaters, surfers and photographers, they would have an easy time finding talent for any jobs.

Since Alex is a DP, he owns his own RED Dragon and has access to a friends rental house for additional gear. They just wrapped a small job in Germany, which was done with remote practice and with health guidelines in place.

They have an editing system and can edit. In their circle of friends they have sound design, mastering and color.

Ivan Vaccaro is an Argentinian director living in Mexico City, but has been working throughout the US. He is an amazing visual director, passionate about art, science and music. Ivan has been working on multiple jobs during the Pandemic and can work either virtual or in-person. Refined aesthetic taste, balance and symmetry, humor and story telling, are just some of his qualities.

The rules for shooting in Mexico are less strict than they are here in the US.  They can shoot on locations and cast talent and work with the right protective guidelines in place. They would be able to shoot commercials there without any problems.

Jorrit Stollman is Dutch and lives in the Netherlands.

The Netherlands are still pretty much under lockdown, so there is no ‘normal’ shooting yet. However Jorrit does a lot of tabletop shooting and has a vast experience in high speed filming. Jorrit is able to make the invisible appear, capture the unknown and visualize abstraction, always with one goal - to amaze and inspire.  He is a microbiologist, which sometimes can show in his work.

Jorrit has his own studio, and is ready to shoot remotely. Live stream from the camera and another life stream of an overview of the studio with of course direct communication with agency and client is available. He can deliver the same quality as his other work now, one could argue he was made for these ties, being able to shoot premium content with minimal support. In his studio he has a Robot arm and a Phantom.

So tabletop shoots for beauty / food / product would be perfect for his set up, as well as anything with a hand model.

Jorrit just finished shooting a spot for a cream remotely for Egypt and gave the remote viewing a try and he is happy to report that it worked great.

Martin Weisz was born in Germany but moved to Los Angeles in 1997, where he still resides now. He has worked on more than 300 music videos, 200 commercials and shot 3 feature films. He is a technical genius and was the first one to shoot with a frozen moment rig with 50 x 35mm film cameras back in the day.

During these crazy Covid-19 times he can still offer a lot of options to shoot. Martin used to DP a lot of his work and still does on any of his passion projects. Due to this nature, he owns his own camera (as a matter of fact several) and has an array of lenses to use with them. On top there are a few small light units and some light grip equipment in his house, as well as a DJI Inspire 2 Drone.

Martin is a visual effects wizard, owning his own editing and visual effects equipment. He is an avid surfer and an outdoor lover, able to jump at any point into the car, drive out into the amazing surrounding nature of LA and shoot some great nature shots.

Martin’s wife is the Executive producer and owner of Verve Media and can produce any job during these times in-house. They both have 2 beautiful girls, one 16 year old teenage daughter and an 11 year old daughter, who have both been already in some commercials and are happy and willing to be talent for any home bound jobs during this time if needed.

In addition their house makes a great location for any shoots inside a house or at a pool. On top there is a carport that has been transformed already several times into a small make shift studio.

FULL CGI PRODUCTION

Over the years Verve has developed a quite sophisticated Digital Department. What started with some shots that needed some digital help, has turned into a Digital Boutique shop that can handle full CGI Productions, Animations and VFX. In times like these we can help with Digital Packshots, full CGI Product shots and animations, as well as marry existing life action footage with new Digital Product Shots.

We have handled some full 100% digital spots as well as AR and VR productions and finishing. The next pages show you just some examples of what we are capable of.
