Julian Ticona Cuba is a Bolivian/German film director, VFX Artist, and Music Supervisor. He has directed several music videos for major acts like Robin Schulz, Lena, Within Temptation and Grammy Winner Jonas Myrin. His commercial work includes films and adverts for clients such as Netflix,Volkswagen, Nivea and ALDI.
As a VFX Artist, he worked for brands like Audi, BMW, L’Oréal and created effects on work such as Lady Gaga’s MTV Video Music Awards nominated „Telephone“ featuring Beyoncé and projects for Rihanna, Rammstein and Ozzy Osbourne. He is a creative director at Acht Studio in Germany too.
His work as a Music Supervisor features sound concepts for the likes of Vodafone, Burger King and Volkswagen adverts as well as recently founding the Advertising Music Agency „NOISE Music“.
Amongst other awards, Julian recently won the „Top Shorts - Experimental of the year“ award for his direction on the indie micro-short „Plus Minus“.
